Clinical Coordinator - Charge Registered Nurse - Dialysis

Job Summary
Manage daily dialysis operations by assessing patient needs, supervising direct care staff, and distributing assignments to ensure continuity of care. Oversee shift execution, approve schedule changes, and administer medications per physician orders while monitoring for complications. Lead patient care plan meetings, conduct staff training, and operate emergency equipment during treatments. Collaborate with the Facility Administrator on monthly staff meetings and quality assurance initiatives. Admit new patients, educate families on End Stage Renal Disease, and maintain compliance with OSHA and regulatory standards. Travel between assigned facilities and locations as required.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (R.N.)
- Must be registered and licensed to practice in the applicable State
- Minimum of 12 months of nursing experience
- 6 months of specialized experience providing clinical nursing care to dialysis patients
- Experience in either a chronic or acute setting
- Certified in CPR or successfully complete course in CPR certification
- Good communication skills – verbal and written
- Employees are required to take the Ishihara's Color Blindness test as a condition of employment
- Travel to regional, Business Unit and Corporate meetings may be required
Desired Qualifications
- Medical/surgical nursing preferred
- Supervisory or management experience preferred
