Clinical Coordinator - Charge Registered Nurse - Dialysis

Job Summary
Direct patient care staff, ward clerks, and physicians while managing daily dialysis operations, including staffing, scheduling, and emergency response. Assess patient needs, administer medications per orders, and ensure compliance with OSHA, state, and federal regulations. Train new staff, participate in care plan meetings, and lead monthly quality assurance reviews. Operate dialysis and emergency equipment safely, promote efficient supply use, and educate patients and families on End Stage Renal Disease. Coordinate with the Facility Administrator on personnel issues and special projects. Requires RN license, 12 months nursing experience plus 6 months dialysis specialization, and CPR certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (R.N.)
- Must be registered and licensed to practice in the applicable State
- Minimum of 12 months of nursing experience
- 6 months of specialized experience providing clinical nursing care to dialysis patients
- Experience in either a chronic or acute setting
- Certified in CPR or successfully complete course in CPR certification
- Good communication skills – verbal and written
- Employees are required to take the Ishihara's Color Blindness test as a condition of employment
- Travel to regional, Business Unit and Corporate meetings may be required
Desired Qualifications
- Medical/surgical nursing preferred
- Supervisory or management experience preferred
