Job Summary
Direct patient care staff, manage dialysis operations, and ensure compliance with regulatory policies. Assess daily patient needs, distribute care assignments, and administer medications per physician orders. Supervise equipment usage, monitor treatment techniques, and respond to emergencies while collaborating with the clinical team. Lead monthly quality assurance meetings, conduct staff orientations, and approve schedule changes in the administrator's absence. Requires an RN license, 12 months nursing experience, and 6 months dialysis specialization.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (R.N.)
- Must be registered and licensed to practice in the applicable State
- Minimum of 12 months of nursing experience
- 6 months of specialized experience providing clinical nursing care to dialysis patients
- Experience in either a chronic or acute setting
- Certified in CPR or successfully complete course in CPR certification
- Good communication skills – verbal and written
- Employees are required to take the Ishihara's Color Blindness test as a condition of employment
- Travel to regional, Business Unit and Corporate meetings may be required
Desired Qualifications
- Medical/surgical nursing preferred
- Supervisory or management experience preferred
