Job Summary
Manage daily dialysis operations by assessing patient needs, administering medications, and supervising direct patient care staff while ensuring compliance with federal and facility policies. Provide ongoing guidance to nursing personnel, approve schedule changes, and lead monthly quality assurance meetings to maintain safe, cost-effective clinical outcomes. Assume primary responsibility during emergencies, coordinate relief charge duties, and educate patients on End Stage Renal Disease and therapy protocols. Collaborate with physicians and facility administrators to optimize patient care delivery and staff performance.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing (R.N.)
- Must be registered and licensed to practice in the applicable State
- Minimum of 12 months of nursing experience
- 6 months of specialized experience providing clinical nursing care to dialysis patients
- Experience in either a chronic or acute setting
- Certified in CPR or successfully complete course in CPR certification
- Good communication skills – verbal and written
- Employees are required to take the Ishihara's Color Blindness test as a condition of employment
- Travel to regional, Business Unit and Corporate meetings may be required
Desired Qualifications
