Job Summary
Coordinate and manage all clinical rotations, placements, and credentialing aspects for the School of Nursing. Collaborate with the Director of Operations, nursing school leadership, and faculty to evaluate and develop clinical education sites and adjunct faculty. Maximize efficiency through process analysis, analyze operational performance, and recommend improvement solutions. Facilitate clinical practice experiences for students by coordinating site visits, reviewing progress, and managing tracking software. Assist with long-range planning, accreditation reviews, and program materials updates. Support curricular enhancement, implement innovations, and coordinate onboarding for clinical adjuncts, preceptors, and support staff. Participate in recruiting, retention, and admissions activities while representing the department in community relations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Eligible to work in the United States on or before the confirmed start date
- Knowledge of the educational objectives and experiences of student nurses
- Knowledge of the clinical practice of nursing
- Knowledge of the diverse organizational environments in which nurses practice
- Knowledge of the types of clinical sites needed to meet course content and objectives
- Valid Georgia driver's license
- Good driving record
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a favorable criminal history
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Must pass a credit check
- Must pass a Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) check
- Must pass pre-employment/post-offer drug screens
- Must pass random drug screens
- Must be subject to reasonable suspicion drug screening
- Must report any arrest within five days of its occurrence
- Must submit proof of any professional degree, license, or certification required to competently perform the work
