Job Summary
Clinical Coordinator / Behavioral Health Liaison providing administrative, operational, and patient support to ensure efficient clinic workflows and timely access to behavioral health services. Serves as liaison between patients, providers, and care teams, supporting scheduling, referral management and coordination of care. Responsibilities include managing calendars, scheduling and templates for clinicians, preparing reports and records, coordinating supplies and purchasing, supporting recruitment, coordinating BH referrals and EMR tasks, facilitating warm handoffs, tracking appointments and no-shows, addressing barriers to care, and maintaining confidentiality and HIPAA compliance while promoting cultural competence. Requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, bilingual English/Spanish proficiency, and healthcare-related education or training; on-site role in Lawrence, MA.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of administrative and/or patient care experience, preferably in healthcare
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and EMR systems
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Education: Human Services or healthcare training preferred
- Medical Assistant and CPR certification preferred (if performing clinical duties)
