Job Summary
Ambulatory Multi-Organ Transplant Clinical Coordinator responsible for coordinating patient care across the continuum, applying current nursing knowledge to manage clinical activities, and performing teaching/education duties. Involves participating in quality improvement initiatives and academic/research activities, and handling administrative tasks as assigned. Requires a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Master’s preferred), a nursing license in Ontario, BCLS Level II, and up to three years of relevant experience including advanced practice/transplant nursing. Strong teaching, organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team or independently; commitment to client service and professional/ethical standards. Role located at Toronto General Hospital, Ontario, Canada, with in-person schedule Monday to Friday; status: Temporary Full-Time (end date ~ April 9, 2027).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
- Certificate of competency from the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Completion of Basic Cardiac Life Support (B.C.L.S.) Level II Rescuer
- Up to three years of relevant experience in an advanced practice role
- Experience in transplant nursing preferred
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to function in a multi-disciplinary team or independently
- Commitment to professional and ethical standards
- Research experience preferred
