Job Summary
Clinical Coordinator provides direct clinical supervision to case-management staff, oversees client referrals to medical/psychiatric/substance abuse providers, oversees housing-related activities and referrals (housing packets, opportunities, interview prep), coaches staff for professional development, conducts in-service workshops on topics like conflict resolution, assessments, client engagement and safety, ensures daily/weekly/monthly DHS statistics are compiled and submitted, conducts chart reviews for audits, facilitates case conferences for individuals and couples, leads team meetings and treatment plan reviews, maintains QA procedures, and provides emergency first aid/CPR when needed. 37.5-hour fully on-site weekly schedule with on-call duties in Queens, NY. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- MSW or graduate degree in social service field preferred
- minimum one year related supervisory experience required, or minimum of three years related experience can be substituted for supervisor experience
- direct experience with homelessness, mental illness and substance abuse highly preferred
- knowledge of Motivational Interviewing, conflict resolution and related practices preferred
- understanding of housing and referral process preferred
- bilingual abilities a plus
- CPR training certification or ability to obtain CPR certification
