Job Summary

Develop and validate acute and critical care nursing content for AACN's products, programs, and services by collaborating with internal and external subject matter experts. Lead project development and implementation for assigned conferences, managing schedules, budgets, and teams to ensure alignment with organizational standards. Act as a primary consultant and liaison with clinical practice community groups to synthesize knowledge and ensure content accuracy, context, and relevance. Provide direction and guidance on CNE activities in adherence to ANCC accreditation criteria, including proper CE assignment and documentation maintenance. Functions as the Primary Nurse Planner for assigned conferences, facilitating meetings to build consensus and address conflict. Occasional travel is required for meetings and events.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • RN licensure
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive nursing experience
  • Experience leading complex projects, programs, or initiatives
  • Experience providing clinical expertise, developing conference content or educational programs
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Ability to independently analyze and synthesize complex clinical and educational information
  • Ability to exercise professional judgment
  • Ability to evaluate alternatives
  • Ability to make recommendations
  • Ability to prioritize multiple concurrent projects
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and deadlines
