Clinical Consultant

Clinical Consultant for the USPS EAP program. Provides comprehensive counseling services in-person, telephonically, or via video, including short-term counseling, problem solving, referrals, and behavioral health consultation. Responsibilities include crisis and high-risk/intervention support, triage, training and leadership support, program promotion, and rotational/overflow call coverage. Requires delivering services across multiple modalities, promoting EAP, and meeting contractual requirements. Must have a master’s and/or doctorate in a clinical mental health field, a current state license or certification, active driver's license, and at least 5 years of post-graduate clinical experience. The role is a federally contracted position with USPS, based in Cincinnati, OH, with hybrid work and regular travel to provider facilities or community locations. Performs duties under confidentiality obligations and may require background checks including Public Trust and extensive screenings; US citizenship for at least 5 years is required.
