Clinical Concierge - Medical Assistant Float Full Time

Job Summary
Coordinate patient check-in/check-out, verify insurance eligibility, collect payments, and process referrals while scheduling appointments to optimize clinic workflow. Perform measurements including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure; document data accurately in electronic medical records. Assist providers with collecting patient history, allergies, and medications; administer medications and vaccinations per provider orders and protocols. Collect and prepare lab specimens, complete requisitions, and support patient procedures and examinations. Maintain exam rooms, ensure proper sanitation, and prepare stat cart checks. Complete follow-up phone calls to discharged patients within two to three days.
Required Qualifications
- Specialized Diploma as a Medical Assistant or completion of LVPG Medical Assistant Trainee course
- Strong multitasking, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in EMR systems, word processing, and Excel
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining efficiency, in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism
- Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette
- Knowledge of clinical workflows, medical terminology, and basic patient care practices
- BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association Within 30 Days
- Lift and carry 25 lbs
- patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's Degree from a Medical Assistant Program
- 1 year customer service experience in a healthcare setting
