Job Summary
Conduct accurate, comprehensive, and timely clinical coding for Linacre Private Hospital under the Health Information Manager. Utilize knowledge of Australian Revised Diagnostic Related Groups (AR-DRG) and private health funding models to support surgical, medical, and high dependency units. This onsite role requires working independently and within a team, with a National Police Check and Working-With-Children Check required. Clinical Coding graduates are welcome to apply, and professional development including scholarships and the Ramsay Leadership Academy is supported.
Required Qualifications
- Possess a recognised clinical coding qualification – HIMAA, tertiary HIM qualification, or equivalent
- Have knowledge of Australian Revised Diagnostic Related Groups (AR-DRG) and private health funding models
- Demonstrate ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
- Must provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
- Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children Check
- Proof of immunisation against infectious diseases
