Job Summary
Maintain an outpatient caseload of adults with serious and persistent mental illness by providing individual therapy, assessment, treatment planning, and crisis intervention. Design, recruit for, and facilitate therapeutic groups while tracking outcomes to support program growth. Complete timely documentation meeting regulatory requirements and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care with providers and community partners. Engage clients who are ambivalent or difficult to reach using recovery-oriented, person-centered, and trauma-informed approaches. Availability includes daytime, after-school, early evening, occasional nights, and optional weekends. Salary ranges from $65,000 to $80,000 based on experience and licensure, with benefits including dental, health, and life insurance.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field
- Eligibility for independent or supervised clinical practice in Massachusetts
- Experience providing outpatient behavioral health services
- Experience facilitating or leading therapeutic groups
- Strong clinical documentation skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation, as applicable
Desired Qualifications
- LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, LADC, or comparable Massachusetts licensure
- Experience working with adults diagnosed with serious and persistent mental illness
- Familiarity with recovery-oriented, trauma-informed, and evidence-based treatment approaches
- Experience with client engagement, outreach, and motivational interviewing
- Availability may include: Daytime hours, After-school and early evening hours, Occasional nights, Optional weekend availability
