Job Summary
Coordinate patient care through the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, triage, and implementation of interventions. Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan and evaluate individualized care while documenting history, symptoms, and medications. Mentor staff, conduct new hire orientation, and support performance improvement policy implementation. Supervise unlicensed personnel and manage risk management follow-ups to maintain a safe work environment. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, two years clinical experience, and an unencumbered RN license. Full-time day shift with 40 weekly hours at a salary range of $32.00 - $48.00.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
- Functions within the legal scope of practice
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing strongly preferred in Fargo, Fargo Network, Bemidji, Sioux Falls Network and Rapid City
- Required in Bismarck and Sioux Falls (Sanford USD Medical Center and Clinics)
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program, including, but not limited to, those accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Minimum of two years' clinical experience preferred
