Job Summary
Coordinate resident care and administrative support for the Resident Care Department by ensuring necessary office and clinical supplies are available for daily operations. Triage inbound phone calls, develop staffing schedules with Nursing Leadership, and assemble resident records for new move-ins while maintaining ongoing compliance. Manage supply ordering for residents and the department, schedule staff orientation and training programs, and assist in the hiring process by reviewing applications and coordinating interviews. Support payroll by reviewing timesheets and entering missed punch forms, assist with emergency pendant monitoring, and consolidate time and attendance data for management.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English in all formats
- Must be authorized to legally work in the United States
- Criminal background check required
- Excellent computer skills with comprehensive and solid knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with electronic health records
- Highly organized with efficient time management
- Exceptional communication and customer service skill
- Able to perform tasks which may be physically demanding such as pushing, bending and lifting
- Be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary
- Work well in stressful, high-pressure situations and be able to maintain composure and objectivity
- Be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by residents and guests
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in a medical office or clinical setting
- Medical Assistant, Nursing assistant or Home Health Aide certification
- Experience working with seniors
