Job Summary
Assist patients with activities of daily living, perform physical hygiene procedures, and maintain patient charts while transcribing physician orders and entering data into the computerized patient care system. Perform general clerical and reception duties within a multidisciplinary team structure. Requires Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Medical Assistant, or Registered Medical Assistant credentials along with American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification. One year of patient care experience is necessary. Schedule includes 7am to 7:30pm shifts with weekend requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant on the Georgia Registry
- Certified Medical Assistant awarded by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
- Registered Medical Assistant awarded by the American Medical Technologists (AMT)
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant awarded by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
- One (1) year of patient care experience, as a CNA, PCT, Military Medic, ED Tech or other relevant acute, direct patient care experience
- Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units
