Job Summary
Clinical Behavioral Support Specialist to work with adults with developmental disabilities (ID/DD/ASD) providing Positive Behavioral Supports. Responsibilities include planning, training and implementation of PBS across programs, pursuing CPRR/Safety Care certification, conducting functional assessments and developing/monitoring Behavior Support Plans, data collection and analysis via iCentrix, and collaborating with staff, families, guardians, medical providers, and DDS. Roles include clinical consultation and risk management, participation in leadership and ISP meetings, clinical evaluations for referrals/admissions, agency-wide trainings, crisis intervention and on-call support, and supporting bereavement and grief services. Requires experience in behavior management, licensure as LICSW/LMHC/BCBA or license eligibility within 6 months, and a valid driver’s license; background checks and driving checks are required. Required Qualifications
- Must have behavior management experience with individuals diagnosed ID/DD/ASD and co-occurring mental health diagnoses
- LICSW, LMHC, BCBA, or license eligible within 6 months
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to pass fingerprint background check, CORI, DPPC and Driving background checks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
