Clinical Audiologist

Job Summary
Perform diagnostic audiological test procedures to evaluate patients' hearing status and auditory pathway function; interpret and report results to facilitate medical diagnosis; provide counseling about hearing loss, hearing aids, and communication to patients and families; perform electroacoustic analysis and calibration of hearing aids; conduct hearing aid checks and minor repairs; supervise student externs, clinical fellows, Au.D. students, and residents as requested; assist with planning, budgeting, service or project development, equipment procurement, and maintenance; ensure daily and monthly equipment checks and calibrations are performed.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Audiology (AuD)
- Eligible for Ohio Speech and Hearing Professionals Board license to practice audiology
- Hold Ohio Speech and Hearing Professionals Board license to practice audiology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from ASHA within new hire period and maintain CCCs throughout employment
