Job Summary
Clinical Associates at Alaska Behavioral Health assist clients in meeting overall goals outlined in their treatment plans, utilizing a multi-disciplinary team approach. Responsibilities include conducting individual and group skills sessions, and providing case management for various areas such as daily routine, employment, housing, and medical management. The position has three levels: Clinical Associate I requires a high school diploma and one year of relevant experience; Clinical Associate II also requires a high school diploma but prefers an associate degree and two years of experience; Clinical Associate III necessitates a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. The pay ranges from $20.00 to $30.00 per hour depending on experience, with additional benefits including healthcare options, 401k matching, and PTO.
Required Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED
- one year's working with adults, children, adolescents & their families in a health care, home health, or mental health service setting strongly preferred
- valid driver’s license with a 5-year clean driving record
- two years of case management experience working with mentally ill adults in relevant settings
- Bachelor’s degree in a human-services field such as social work, psychology
- five years of relevant experience may be substituted for the degree
- valid driver’s license with a 5-year clean driving record
