Job Summary
Clinical Assistant Scribe in Dermatology functions as a member of the patient care team, performing a variety of patient care activities and accommodative services for clinic patients under the supervision of the Practice Manager. Maintains primary responsibility for technical procedures and operation/care of the nursing unit, and supports patient management objectives in alignment with health plans. Requires formal training in medical assisting (preferred), CPR certification, strong communication, typing speed (55 wpm), and comfort with computer systems. Equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training in medical assisting preferred; certification from an accredited medical assisting program or medical assistant training/experience preferred
- CPR certification
- two years medical experience
- medical terminology
- experience with computers and public interaction
- typing skills at least 55 wpm
