Job Summary
Clinical Assistant in Concord responsible for coordinating orthopedic patient care and supporting the physician/mid-level provider. Performs routine office procedures, testing, casts/braces, and patient education; manages EMR/Epic documentation, triage calls, and administrative duties. Works with healthcare practitioners to deliver high-quality orthopedic care, assists with examinations, in-office procedures, suture/staple removal, and prepares patients for minor procedures per physician instructions; may travel to other OC locations.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program for medical assistants, athletic training, or nursing
- Certification is required; CMA/RMA must be registered/certified through AAMA, NHA, ARMA, AMT, or AMCA
- EMT certification required (Emergency Medical Technician)
- ATC board certification for Athletic Trainers
- Experience plus certification acceptable in lieu of degree
