Clinical Assistant Professor of Practice

Provide high-quality patient care consistent with current standards of optometric practice while serving as clinical attendings for student interns. Deliver clinical instruction and supervision to student interns primarily within the Primary Care Service, with opportunities to contribute to specialty services like Contact Lens or Community Outreach Care based on training and clinic needs. Participate in teaching activities, including clinical laboratory instruction, and engage in scholarly activities such as peer-reviewed publications, presentations, case reports, and the pursuit of a fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry. Support the academic, clinical, and service missions of the College of Optometry through collaboration with faculty, staff, students, and administrators.
