Job Summary
Clinical Assistant Professor duties include supervising general dentistry in the patient clinic, teaching and mentoring pre-doctoral students, demonstrating dental procedures to students, training in CAD/CAM dentistry and lasers, adopting diverse teaching methods, serving on college committees, maintaining timely patient charts and notes, evaluating students regularly, using the college’s digital record system, collaborating with dental specialists, and contributing to the MWU CDMI program through professional conduct and continued learning.
Required Qualifications
- DDS or DMD degree
- minimum five (5) years of experience in general dentistry
- eligible for licensure in Illinois
- ability to obtain an unrestricted DEA license
