Job Summary
Prepare examination and treatment areas per clinic standards and complete patient rooming procedures including vital signs and data collection. Assist with point of care laboratory testing after successful competency training and ensure accurate documentation in patient records. Perform assigned clerical activities, supply maintenance, and order supplies as directed. Assist with scheduling follow-up care and, in some locations, perform limited x-ray exams following competency training. Requires Basic Life Support certification and ability to lift up to 25 pounds constantly. Required Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Professional Certification - American Heart Association (AHA)
- High School Diploma/GED Equivalent in General Studies
- 80 hours of initial training in radiation safety, positioning, image review
- Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) - South Dakota Board of Nursing
- Ability to work assigned schedules and hours as determined by the department
- Ability to exert up to 25 pounds of force constantly (67-100% of the time)
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds frequently (34-66% of the time)
- Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally (up to 33% of the time)
- Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force seldomly
- Ability to work in an environment with possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids, or tissues
