Clinical Assistant - Part Time

Job Summary
Scan forms, diagnostic test results, and correspondence into the electronic medical record. Complete the full scope of the prior authorization process for medications and diagnostic testing. Send normal lab result letters to patients. Provide administrative support to a team of Certified Medical Assistants and healthcare providers at the Pikesville site. Work Monday through Friday on the day shift for 20 hours per week. This role supports Clinical Associates' integrated medical care system, which includes in-house specialists in seven practice areas and an ambulatory surgery center.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to convey a positive attitude and project a professional image
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Exceptional customer service, organizational skills, and attention to detail
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of general medical office procedures preferred
- Proficiency in computer skills/ EMR systems preferred
