CLINICAL ASSISTANT

Assist providers with exam preparation, during the exam, and post-exam phases to ensure complete patient care. Obtain and document reasons for visits, vital signs, and perform Point-of-Care testing including EKG, blood glucose, and hemoccult. Collect, label, and process specimens using appropriate equipment while maintaining quality control and related records. Perform data entry of POC lab results into patient charts and ensure patient care areas remain stocked with unexpired supplies. Requires Bachelor's degree preferred, prior clinical experience, and American Heart Association Basic Life Support CPR certification.
