Job Summary

Coordinate candidate and employee appointments, schedule visits, and greet individuals arriving at the Employee Health Office. Obtain medical histories, determine vital signs, and document findings into electronic medical records. Direct examinees to examination rooms, perform phlebotomy, EKGs, and specimen collection, and process ancillary reports for provider review. Conduct respirator fit testing, urine drug screenings, and maintain equipment while ensuring strict adherence to disinfection and universal precautions protocols. Clean exam rooms, stock supplies, file charts, and answer telephones to manage prescription refill requests and test result inquiries. Travel to other Guthrie locations as needed and participate in department meetings and mandatory training sessions.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Graduate of a Medical Office Assistant School
Prior medical office experience
Knowledge of medical terminology
Ability to communicate
Excellent customer service skills
Dependability
Professionalism
Flexibility
Ability to multi-task
Computer skills
Previous Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Word
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
