Job Summary
Coordinate aspects of patient care by managing communication and clerical tasks essential to the functioning of the unit. Monitor and stock supplies while providing patient care and related functions as delegated by and under the direction of a registered nurse. Work the night shift from 6:30 p.m. to 7 a.m. on a variable schedule, including every other weekends, within Royal Oak Hospital's Level I trauma and post-operative medical-surgical unit.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Completion of nursing assistant program and/or one year of nursing assistant experience
- Nursing Assistant certification
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of nursing assistant program and/or one year of nursing assistant experience preferred
- Nursing Assistant certification preferred
