Job Summary
Coordinate aspects of patient care by managing communication and clerical tasks essential to the functioning of the unit. Monitor and stock supplies, and provide patient care and related functions as delegated by and under the direction of a registered nurse. Support all 36+ inpatient nursing units including adults, pediatrics, and women's health as part of our float pool. Night shift coverage from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., Monday through Friday, with every third weekend off.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Completion of nursing assistant program and/or one year of nursing assistant experience preferred
- Nursing Assistant certification preferred
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support required
- Must be able to comply with MMR, Varicella, Tdap, and Influenza vaccine requirement
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to work night shifts (6:30p.m. to 7:00a.m.)
- Must be able to work Monday through Friday
- Must be able to work every third weekend
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of nursing assistant program and/or one year of nursing assistant experience preferred
- Nursing Assistant certification preferred
