Job Summary
Clinical Assistant in Belmont providing and coordinating orthopedic patient care, performing routine office procedures and testing, triage of patient calls, casting and bracing, patient education, and collaboration with physicians/mid-level providers. Role includes documenting histories and vitals in EPIC, assisting with examinations and injections, room sterilization, suture removal, and handling administrative tasks such as ordering supplies, stocking rooms, and managing patient messages. Primarily office-based with potential travel to other OC locations; full-time schedule Mon–Fri, 8a–5p.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program for medical assistants, athletic training, or nursing
- Certification is required (CMA/RMA or equivalent)
- CMA/RMA must be registered/certified through AAMA, NHA, ARMA, AMT, or AMCA
- EMTs require Emergency Medical Technician certification
- ATCs must be board certified as Athletic Trainer
- New graduates are welcome
- Travel to other OC locations may be required
- CPR - Other certifications
- State certification required upon recertification
