Job Summary
Clinical Assistant to support residents in daily treatment, care, and services; participate as a member of individuals’ planning, implementation and interdisciplinary teams; assist in implementing individualized residential habilitation services; respect personal choices, lifestyles, and the dignity to take informed risks; role involves promoting independence and safety for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities; position requires HS diploma or equivalent (Associates preferred), 1+ year DD experience, ability to lift 50 lbs, NYS driver’s license, and certifications to be completed within stated timelines.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Associates Degree preferred
- At least 1 year of work experience with Developmental Disabilities
- Must be at least 18 years old to apply for this position
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Must have a valid NYS driver’s license in good standing
- OPWDD Medication Administration Certification, First Aid/CPR Certification and SCIP-R Certification must be completed within the first three months of employment
