Job Summary
Clinical Assistant on 4B unit provides a wide range of clinical support on the patient care unit under RN supervision, assists with patient care, equipment and specific technical procedures, reports data to RNs, and supports hourly rounding. Maintains patient confidentiality, adheres to infection control and safety policies, demonstrates professionalism and effective communication, and participates in unit-quality initiatives. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and BLS/CPR readiness; preference for healthcare experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire
- CPR certification
- Ability to read and write; direct patient care tasks; willingness to attend mandatory educational programs
