Job Summary
Provide comprehensive, patient-centered inpatient obstetric care across the antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum continuum on Labor & Delivery, supported by Certified Nurse Midwives and Advanced Practice providers. Manage high-risk and socio-medically complex patients within a multidisciplinary care model, partnering with Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Anesthesiology, and Neonatology to optimize outcomes. Perform gynecologic consultations in the Emergency Department and inpatient services, including medical management and timely operative treatment of emergent conditions. Execute a broad range of procedures, including spontaneous and operative vaginal deliveries, cesarean deliveries, laparoscopy, laparotomy, and hysteroscopy. Support a 24/7 teaching environment by supervising and educating residents and medical students. This role is commensurate with education, experience, and the number of inpatient shifts, with salary determined by these factors.
Required Qualifications
- Board eligible or board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Eligible for unrestricted Florida medical licensure
- Must be board certified or on track to be certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG)
- Must be eligible for unrestricted Florida medical licensure
- Degrees earned from an education institution outside of the United States are required to be evaluated by a professional credentialing service provider approval by National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES)
