Job Summary
Provide care in early pregnancy management and complex contraception clinics, perform second-trimester procedures in the operating room, and participate in inpatient obstetric and gynecologic care including Labor & Delivery coverage. Manage patients qualifying for Florida's pregnancy care law exceptions and collaborate with faculty to advance patient care, education, and research in family planning. Teach and mentor medical students and residents in obstetrics, gynecology, and family planning while contributing to didactic, simulation, and clinical education within the residency program. Engage in scholarly activity and clinical research with opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration across UF Health. Required Qualifications
- Board eligible/certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Eligible for a Florida Medical License
- Commensurate with education and experience
- MD or DO, or equivalent degree
- Board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG)
- Ongoing clinical activity
- Eligible for Florida licensure
- Interest in Labor & Delivery
Desired Qualifications
- Fellowship training in Complex Family Planning (CFP)
- Equivalent experience to Fellowship training in Complex Family Planning
- Demonstrated excellence in patient care
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching
- Demonstrated excellence in scholarly activity
- Experience in collaborative, multidisciplinary care
