Job Summary
The Clinical Applications Support Administrator will assist the systems administrator in managing and maintaining our healthcare systems used to provide patient care. Responsibilities include monitoring system and user performance, troubleshooting issues, providing end-user technical support, documenting configurations and procedures, collaborating on projects, coordinating software update notifications, participating in initiatives, and staying current with emerging technologies and best practices in systems administration. The role emphasizes a blend of independent work and teamwork in a dynamic environment, with a focus on reliability, timely issue resolution, and clear communication.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, HCHB) and network protocols
- Familiarity with hardware components and troubleshooting techniques
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently, and part of a team as well as collaboratively with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
- Experience with system monitoring tools and administrative software, preferred
- Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) is preferred
- Basic knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell) for automation preferred
