Job Summary
Clinical Systems administrator and trainer focused on MIC’s diagnostic-imaging IT ecosystem. You will administer and maintain PACS, RIS, Nuance Powerscribe and related clinical systems, perform upgrades and integrations, create end-user documentation, train staff, and lead projects to improve user experience and data integrity while supporting radiologists and clinicians. The role emphasizes problem-solving, system optimization, collaboration with software vendors, and ensuring secure, reliable patient-care IT operations. Hybrid work arrangement requires two days in the office per week; some travel to clinics is required.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership and experience supporting and maintaining clinical systems related to healthcare.
- Diverse clinical system background with a strong understanding of IT infrastructure and clinical system dependencies.
- Experience defining workflow requirements and supporting and troubleshooting HL7 and DICOM-based integrations.
- Proven track record of work quality and attention to detail.
- A demonstrated, clear pattern of professional and personal growth.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills to convey technical information effectively to all personnel, including clinical staff and radiologists.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a genuine commitment to providing quality support to end-users.
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle to travel to clinics as needed, with occasional work-from-home opportunities.
