Clinical Application Specialist

Job Summary
Provide initial on-site installation, training, and follow-up sessions for all Heidelberg Engineering devices. Consult with eye care clinics to recommend imaging policies that optimize workflow and troubleshoot software and hardware issues. Support doctors, photographers, and technicians regarding product inquiries while performing quality checks, calibration, and computer networking. Customize training and product specifications based on customer clinical needs and participate in regional or online educational programs. Deliver technical and demonstration support at trade shows and events. This role requires a BA/BS degree in biomedical imaging or photography with 5-10 years of ophthalmic photography experience, including mandatory angiography and preferred ICGA expertise. Candidates must reside in the Philadelphia, PA area and be prepared for up to 80% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Must be located in the Philadelphia, PA area
- BA/BS degree in biomedical imaging, photography (or equivalent education/work experience)
- 5-10 years ophthalmic photography experience required
- Previous training experience required
- Angiography experience required
- Knowledge of ophthalmic instruments and diseases
- MS Office operating system, computer hardware, computer configurations, data storage and management, and networking knowledge required
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
- Travel required up to 80%
- Off-shift and weekend duties may be required as assigned by manager
Desired Qualifications
- CRA, or OCT-C certification preferred
- ICGA experience preferred
