Job Summary
Conduct independent clinical data analysis and case management to support accurate interpretation of genetic findings, including reanalysis. Establish phenotype-genotype correlations across a wide range of genetic disorders using internal resources and professional tools. Investigate and interpret complex clinical features of genetic conditions, documenting evidence and rationale for variant classification in a clear, standardized format. Meet or exceed productivity and error standards as assigned by the team lead while performing clinical analysis at a moderate case rate. Execute other duties as assigned to advance team objectives. This fully remote role requires ABMGG or CCMG certification and a PhD or MD with relevant clinical diagnostics experience.
Required Qualifications
- PhD in Biology, Genetics, or related field
- MD or DO with more than 2 years of directly relevant experience in clinical diagnostics (including fellowship)
- ABMGG or CCMG certification
- At least one year of independent clinical analysis experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Demonstrated computer skills, including the ability to maintain high proficiency with internal systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and the Office 365 environment
- Ability to communicate effectively via phone and video calls
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds (office supplies, equipment)

- Experience with exome and genome sequencing workflows
- Experience establishing phenotype-genotype correlations across a wide range of genetic disorders
- Experience investigating and interpreting complex clinical features of genetic conditions
- Experience documenting evidence and rationale for variant classification in a clear, standardized format
- Experience meeting or exceeding productivity and error standards
- Experience performing clinical analysis at a moderate case rate
- Experience performing other duties to advance team objectives
