Clinical Analyst EpicCare Ambulatory

Job Summary
Lead the development, implementation, and optimization of EpicCare Ambulatory by designing, building, testing, and maintaining system components to streamline clinical workflows. Configure workflows, documentation tools, Smart Tools, OTX, Health Maintenance, and registries while partnering with clinicians to analyze business needs and create innovative solutions. Provide technical expertise, training, and ongoing support for end users, collaborating on projects to enhance operational efficiency and patient safety. Requires EpicCare Ambulatory certification, 5+ years of healthcare experience, and hands-on Epic build experience. Full-time days role with rotating on-call schedule, remote with minimal onsite visits, excluding NY, CT, and CA residents.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of progressive healthcare experience
- EpicCare Ambulatory Certification
- Hands-on Epic build experience with EpicCare Ambulatory or OTX
- Familiarity with clinical workflows in outpatient settings and EMR system implementations
- Knowledge of billing, scheduling, access services, and health maintenance workflows
- In-depth understanding of Epic systems, hospital regulations (HIPAA, TJC), and quality standards
- Ability to lead meetings, collaborate cross-functionally, and drive change
- Excellent communication skills – able to translate complex IT concepts into practical clinical applications

- Residency outside of NY, CT, and CA
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in hospital or major medical center IT deployments
- Experience with SAS or statistical software
