Job Summary
Assist in patient care both clinically and administratively in accordance with multidisciplinary treatment plans. Conduct strip searches of newly admitted patients and for-cause drug screens. Maintain a safe, neat, and clean environment while promoting patient safety and wellness. Provide information, services, and assistance to patients through individual interactions and group settings. Serve as a liaison with 12-Step volunteers and assist with family visits. Document significant interactions in the electronic medical record and safeguard patient information. Respond to and direct emergency situations, including fire safety, infection control, and hazardous waste disposal. Work day shift (7:00am - 7:30pm) at Malvern Treatment Centers in Willow Grove, PA.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- experience in a chemical dependency and/or mental health treatment setting
Desired Qualifications
- A Bachelor or Associate degree in related mental health discipline from an accredited college or university
- Current CPR Certification (American Health Association Healthcare Provider)
- Verbal De-escalation Training
