Job Summary
Design and implement ML/AI algorithms for healthcare applications such as diagnosis, risk prediction, and patient stratification. Develop pipelines for data preprocessing, model training, validation, and deployment using real-world clinical data. Collaborate with clinicians, data scientists, and engineers to translate clinical problems into AI-driven solutions while ensuring compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, and clinical validation protocols. Work on regulatory submissions and technical documentation for CE marking and FDA approvals. Evaluate model performance and generalizability using diverse clinical datasets.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and other ML frameworks
- Experience with healthcare data types (EHR, DICOM, HL7, FHIR)
- Strong knowledge of statistics, deep learning, and signal processing
- Understanding of clinical trial data and medical research practices
- Ability to work with interdisciplinary teams including clinicians and regulatory experts
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in deploying AI models in cloud-based environments (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Knowledge of model explain ability and interpretability in clinical settings
- Familiarity with ISO 13485, IEC 62304, or other med-tech standards
- Published work or contributions to healthcare AI projects
