Job Summary
Clinical Admissions Therapist responsible for meeting clients upon admission, building rapport, completing biopsychosocial assessments, and establishing treatment needs. Role involves determining appropriateness for virtual intensive outpatient program (IOP), constructing provisional DSM-V diagnoses, documenting in electronic medical records, assigning treatment team members, and coordinating with Admissions, Verification of Benefits, Utilization Review, and Clinical teams. Must communicate with referral sources (hospitals, treatment centers, psychiatrists, therapists) to facilitate intake. Shifts include mornings/afternoons (11am–7pm MT) and afternoons/evenings (12pm–8pm MT), with weekends encouraged; US work authorization and native or bilingual English proficiency required. Access to reliable tech for confidential telehealth and ability to thrive in fast-paced settings are emphasized. Note: Colorado applicants and rolling state background checks are addressed in policy. Required Qualifications
- Independent licensure in a mental health field required
- Experience completing behavioral health assessments and admissions preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Access to reliable technology resources to deliver telehealth
- Experience with ages across children, teens, young adults, and adults preferred
