Job Summary
Clinical Admissions Therapist will meet with clients upon admission, build rapport, complete biopsychosocial assessments, and determine appropriateness for virtual IOP, while coordinating with admissions, benefits, utilization review, and clinical teams to facilitate intake and assign treatment teams and group schedules. The role requires DSM-V provisional diagnoses, documentation in electronic medical records, and collaboration with hospitals, treatment centers, psychiatrists, therapists, and other behavioral health providers. Must be able to work mornings/afternoons and weekends as scheduling permits; strong communication and reliability for telehealth delivery and confidential, compliant care. Must have an independent mental health license; associate-level clinicians considered.
