Job Summary
Lead the development and ongoing operations of a new orthopedic-focused Ambulatory Surgery Center in Grand Prairie, Texas. Provide full operational oversight including clinical, financial, and administrative functions while managing the center's budget, P&L performance, and cost controls. Drive start-up execution for licensure, accreditation, vendor selection, and equipment procurement to ensure go-live readiness. Establish workflows across pre-op, OR, and PACU to ensure safe, high-quality patient care aligned with orthopedic best practices and regulatory standards. Build relationships with orthopedic surgeons to drive satisfaction and case growth while recruiting and developing a high-performing team. Manage staffing models, performance management, and quality improvement initiatives to monitor key performance indicators and ensure ongoing compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas (in good standing)
- Bachelor's degree (BSN or healthcare-related) or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in an ASC or surgical services environment
- Demonstrated experience in orthopedic procedures and workflows
- Proven ability to manage operations, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams
- Strong understanding of ASC regulatory, accreditation, and compliance requirements
- Monday–Friday schedule with case-dependent hours
- Start-up environment requiring adaptability, hands-on leadership, and problem-solving
Desired Qualifications
- Prior ASC Administrator experience
- Experience leading a de novo, startup, or turnaround environment
- Experience with physician partnerships/joint ventures
