Job Summary
Clinical Administrative Supervisor in Nursing Admin overseeing nursing resources and interdepartmental coordination to support efficient, safe patient care during a 12-hour rotating shift. Collaborates with nursing staff and management, communicates with the nursing director and physicians, coaches staff to develop clinical, managerial, and leadership skills, and performs duties to maintain standards, safety, and fiscal responsibility within a hospital setting. Requires a BSN, RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, and relevant management experience in acute care; this is a part-time, non-exempt role with a focus on shift-based leadership and problem-solving beyond regular hours.
Required Qualifications
- Req Bachelor's degree
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Req 3-5 years experience in nursing
- Req 1 year in management, preferably in an acute care setting
- Pref 1 year experience in an intensive care setting strongly preferred
- OR Req 2 years Experience as Clinical Administrative Supervisor in a hospital setting
- Req Effective communication skills
- Req Organizes and prioritizes work efficiently
- Req Functions as a positive role model and resource for all team members
- Required Licenses/Certifications: RN (CA Board of Registered Nursing)
- Req Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association
- Req Fire Life Safety Training (LA City)
- If no card upon hire, one must be obtained within 30 days of hire and maintained by renewal before expiration date. (Required within LA City only)
- Req Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Healthcare Provider from American Heart Association
