Job Summary
The Clinical Adjunct Instructor will teach clinical sections for undergraduate nursing students, collaborate with course faculty to supervise pre-licensure nursing students, evaluate students' written assignments and clinical performance, and participate in lab or simulation activities. This role requires a Registered Nurse licensed in Connecticut, a Master's degree in Nursing, and current clinical experience. Candidates must also demonstrate the ability to work with diverse populations and possess strong communication and technology skills.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with a current, unencumbered state of CT RN license
- Master’s degree in Nursing
- Current clinical experience in a relevant area
- Proven ability to work effectively with diverse populations
Desired Qualifications
- Teaching experience with recent clinical teaching experience in an academic setting
- Expertise in adult health, community health, or psych/mental health
- Experience in health assessment and skills lab instruction
