Job Summary
Call on Health Care Professionals specializing in Nephrology to position Travere as a leader in the Nephrology space and maximize sales for Filspari, a first-in-class treatment for rare kidney disease. Achieve sales goals, conduct business planning, and manage expenses while providing education on therapy benefits and access procedures, including testing protocols, site determination, and reimbursement processes. Support an underserved patient community through direct engagement and educational resources. This field-based role requires calling on prescribers at targeted institutions and offices, with up to 30% domestic overnight travel. Candidates must reside in the Cleveland territory or immediate adjacency, maintain a reliable vehicle, and meet credentialling requirements for healthcare facility access.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience
- 5+ years of relevant work experience calling on prescribers of specialized, high value products
- Must have a reliable and appropriate personal vehicle that meets minimum requirements to conduct business for the company
- Background check including Motor Vehicle Record
- Ability to travel up to 30% domestically overnight
- The position is field based and the candidate must live in their territory or immediate adjacency
- The ability to perform face to face work with colleagues and/or onsite in San Diego
- The ability to satisfactorily meet credentialling requirements for access to healthcare facilities and customer sites within your territory on an ongoing basis
