Job Summary
Drive demand through clinical selling and education to referring and treating health care providers on Cortrophin Gel within the Huntsville, Alabama and Memphis, TN territory. Build and execute territory strategy and account-specific plans to drive physician and patient identification, market development, and brand awareness in Rheumatology, Nephrology, and Neurology. Prioritize resources to optimize access to high-potential accounts while managing evening and weekend commitments for physician and patient events. Collaborate with MSLs, Market Access teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure patient logistics and reimbursement support. Conduct cold calls on all targeted specialties and maintain strict compliance standards. Requires 40-60% overnight travel, a driver's license, and a Bachelor's degree.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Advanced degree in business or science
- Minimum 5 years of demonstrated success in rare disease or specialty pharmaceutical sales
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends, as needed, for physician or patient events (both in person and virtual)
- Must have the ability to manage a multi-state territory with diverse customer base
- Driver's license
- Overnight travel ranging from 40%-60% depending on the geography and business needs of the individual territory
- Cold calling on all targeted specialties
Desired Qualifications
- Experience launching a drug in a competitive space with a track record of market growth
- Experience in Rheumatology, Nephrology, Neurology
- Product launch experience, including a working knowledge of government and commercial payers
- Understanding and experience working with in-house patient support services
- Familiarity with relevant legal and regulatory pharmaceutical industry requirements
- Experience leading and executing territory-level business planning activities
- Understanding of patient services and specialty channel distribution
