Job Summary
Clinical - 40 Certified Medical Assistant role in New York, NY. Provide care to patients/significant others via direct and/or telephone contact, coordinate with the care team to ensure seamless care delivery and active patient participation in planning and care. Assist physician or other provider with clinical procedures. Requires high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of clinical experience, with preferred graduate of an accredited medical assistant program and current certification or eligibility for certification; CPR/BLS certification preferred. Typical duties include direct patient care, coordination with care team, and assisting with clinical procedures in a medical office environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of clinical experience in a medical office / clinic or hospital setting, or graduate of an accredited medical assistant program.
- Record of prior stable employment and / or favorable references.
- Current CPR / BLS certification.
