Job Summary
Develop, coordinate, and manage clinic operations while supervising staff and assisting with program development, marketing, and business planning. Collaborate with providers, staff, and leadership to plan, organize, and monitor health care services that promote optimal clinical, financial, and satisfaction outcomes. Manage regulatory compliance regarding Medicare Conditions of Participation and communicate operational initiatives to providers and staff. Prioritize ever-changing patient workloads and interface with hospital departments to maximize resources for expedient patient care. Work days (8 hours) with fixed Saturday and Sunday time off.
Required Qualifications
- Two years clerical experience in medical setting
- One-year supervisory experience in a hospital ambulatory area, hospital-based clinic or medical practice setting
- Membership in a professional organization and attendance to conferences regarding management and supervision of employees
- Must demonstrate technical competence
- Must demonstrate professional judgment

- Must demonstrate planning skills
- Must demonstrate creative problem solving
- Must demonstrate sensitivity for the patient experience
- Must have knowledge of regulatory requirements for areas of responsibility to include standards of Medicare Conditions of Participation and criteria applicable to the clinic practice
- Must be able to communicate in a knowledgeable and articulate manner with providers and staff regarding operational initiatives
- Must be able to work with other department staff and all other hospital personnel in professional, positive, efficient, and tactful manner
- Must be able to deal with the public (including patient's visitors) in a professional and tactful manner, as it relates to questions or concerns regarding patient's conditions, status and care preferred
- Must be able to interface with all hospital departments so that the resources may be utilized to maximize patient care in an expedient fashion
- Must be flexible in prioritizing ever-changing patient status and workloads
- Must possess computer skills with Microsoft Word and Outlook programs
- Must demonstrate efficient organization, communication and planning skills
- Must demonstrate strong leadership, decision-making and judgment skills
- Must be flexible, innovative, and creative in planning and problem solving
- Must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position and consistently demonstrate the core values of Enloe Medical Center, serving as a role model to other employees
